Problem you are trying to solve
Ok, easy example, right now I want to launch minecraft. No big deal. Except I have no idea what specific tricky windows backdoor processes need a connection to do so.
Worse, I denied some... I am sure... and dont remember now which ones. So I have to wipe everything to figure out what wants access. Try to remember that for when I shutdown minecraft. And really really hope I remember when I launch minecraft again.
Suggested solution
Just make it so when I launch a program/app for the first time I can get the gist of what now wants to connect in the last minute.
Which firewall does anyway. The DIFFERENCE is I can put those into a little group/profile.
"Allow Minecraft Profile"
Then hopefully I could figure out how to trigger that based on the minecraft.exe launching. When its turned off the profile can
"Deny Minecraft Profile"
I know there will be overlap of wrong associations.
So, I can launch it again, look at the profile, and tinker with more context and not universally applying firewalls (unless I want to).
That's exactly what I want to suggest: Add some profile or group of filter option. It would be great. I think this is a great app but missing this feature
