Greetings, Henry Thank you for the tool; I'm comparing Trinity and BayesDenovo results on the samples (metatranscriptomics) obtained from my colleague's. Laptop with Ubuntu 18.04.LTS, 8GB RAM, CPU Core i5-7th gen.

I have a few requests.

  1. assemble.log, assembly.fa, bayesdenovo.fa, bayesdenovo.sam, both.fa, and two folders (rawraphs and tmp) were seen when running BayesDenovo demo.sh on demo fastq files.

  2. Using LEFT=$PKG PATH/demo/x_1P.fastq and RIGHT=$PKG PATH/demo/x_2P.fastq (pair ends) run BAyesDEnovo demo.sh resulted in an empty assembly.fa or no assembled transcripts, whereas bayesdenovo.fa has transcripts.

  3. When I ran, perl BayesDenovo_v1.pl --seqType fq --left reads.left.fq --right reads.right.fq --CPU 2 --output left_right_results or x_1P and x_2P. fastq files

I received the following error:

Converting input files... (in parallel) Done converting input files.

cp: missing destination file operand after '/home/satish/Downloads/BayesDenovo-main/BayesDenovo-v1/src/header.txt' Try 'cp --help' for more information. Error, cmd: cp /home/satish/Downloads/BayesDenovo-main/BayesDenovo-v1/src/header.txt died with ret 256 !

Could you please let me know the possibilities

Thank you Satish
