bridge macos doesnt install anything #194

OS version: Big Sur 11.6 Browser version: 94.0.2 Extension version: Bridge version:v0.1.0

Description Files from bridge are not in advertised folder, and are nowhere to be found.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install macOS Bridge v0.1.0 on MacOs Big Sur 11.6

Expected behaviour Bridge is installed and avaiable in below folders: /Library/Application Support/fx_cast/ /Library/Application Support/Mozilla/NativeMessagingHosts/fx_cast_bridge.json

Actual behaviour Files are nowhere to be found and bridge cannot be started. Firefox extension cant find bridge either.

I had the same problem (on Macbook M1 Max) but solved it buy installing it in terminal;

sudo installer -pkg fx_cast_bridge-0.3.0-arm64.pkg -target /
