lack of CPU, DEV, CU identification #236

there is no CU number, SSID info so operating system can't check what is realy it

there is allocation issue on newer operating system IEF462I JOBNAME STEPNAME - NO AVAILABLE OFFLINE DEVICES ELIGIBLE FOR ALLOCATION

there is UNIT=3390 request, and dasd is online

Can you give more details about where you are seeing this? The reason I ask, is because I am getting this when MSTJCL00 is started at IPL time. I am using Fish's Hyperion Hercules.

I see this on system console

to see this you must activate console as soon as possible hercules automation is a good solution to activate console
