Search by Drawing Tool isn't disabled after the tool window is closed

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Multiple Searches window
2. Select Search by Drawing tool
3. Select features from the map
4. Close Multiple Searches window
5. Try panning around the map. Features will still be selected by the tool even 
though the Multiple Searches window is closed. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Select tool should be disabled when the window is closed. Instead, a user needs 
to select the Pan tool in the Search by Drawing tool then close the Multiple 
Searches window to pan around the map without selecting features.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Heron 1.01 with Google Chrome Version 34.0.1847.116 m

I hit this one too. WIthout fixing this, the Panel is actually not usable I think is it?
