Chrome to Phone 2.3.0 update breaks scandinavian letters! #320

After updating Chrome to Phone to version 2.3.0 I noticed that sending text
with scandinavian letters to the clipboard of my phone was't working properly
anymore: on the phone the scandinavian letters appear incorrectly (gibberish).
For example try sending the header of this wikipedia page:
http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%84%C3%A4kk%C3%B6set

It must have something to do with encoding. I tried changing to ISO-8859-1 from
the default UTF-8 on Chrome but that didn't help. The problem seems to be on
the extension itself. I had a computer I hadn't started for a few weeks and
hence it still had the older version of Chrome to Phone extension. I tried the
older version with it and the Scandinavian letters worked perfectly as they
have always been working. After restarting Chrome I noticed it automatically
updated the extension to 2.3.0. I then tried again and the problem emerged on
that computer also.

If you still want to know, my Chrome version is 12.0.742.53 and 12.0.742.68
beta-m on the other computer. Android is 2.2.
