exactly same problem.

"Error: Unable to connect"

OS: Gingerbread 2.3.3
Phone: Samsung Galaxy TAB P1000
ROM: Overcome 2.0.0-gold

The error is produced when i try to connect, in wifi and 3G.
I don't use any firewall or connections blocker software.

My Gmail and Gtalk apps are working fine.

Nexus S 4G with GRJ22. Stopped about 2 weeks ago, and haven't been able to
connect since. Tried revoking access to the account, uninstalling, rebooting,
and reinstalling, but to no avail.

Same issue. Uninstalled app and Chrome extension and started from scratch. Even
factory-reset my phone. Makes me think the problem is something with Google
account?

Same issue on my Nexus S GRJ22. I uninstalled the extension and did a factory
reset on my phone and I still just get "Error: unable to connect."

I also believe this to be related to problem with Google account.
