So far no JavaScript arrow functions have been used, because the goal for the CAS has been to support IE 11. If development of this project continues now that the CAS has finished, we should have the courage to drop IE 11 support and start to use JavaScript arrow functions.

Known bugs in IE 11:

The board size is not calculated correctly
Capturing a stone triggers an error in the JavaScript code. Once a stone capturing move is in the game data, IE 11 is unable to load that game.
