In full-screen mode, splitshow doesn't allow OS X Spaces feature to work #4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start a full screen presentation
2. Try to use the key combination to switch to another space.
3. It doesn't work. Same for the F8 key.

OS X 10.5
