Feature request: Identify "Diverted' Incoming call #17

It is desirable feature for many to identify that the Incoming call is
forwarded or diverted from another line. (as opposed to a direct call to the
cell phone)
Most of the older non-android phones have it like Nokia E71 shows an arrow for
diverted calls, other phones show up a text "Forwarded Call" above or below the
caller Id, like LG Sentio, Motorola U6 and V360
Some android 2.1 phones like Samsung Vibrant Galaxy S., show that the call is
forwarded, the green text appears only for a few seconds.

I use a HTC Glacier (MyTouch 4g)froyo 2.21 that does not show it. I also tested
Nexus S, froyo 2.21 that did not show

There are several posts and requests on many forums including:

http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=2544
http://markmail.org/message/bwl3zqzeyvlnnrc5

It seems like a simple information to include besides the caller ID. the
incoming call includes this info that is somehow neglected by the newer
androids and blackberries.

on my Galaxy S the time the message is shown is to short... you should have a
look at the phone in the first 3 or 5 seconds when the phone starts ringing...
Afterwards no chance to see if it's a diverted call or not. Would be great to
see it in the list of calls!

I need this feature too, I divert my work vodafone calls when it has no signal
to my personal tmobile nexus s. I need to know when I'm receiving a diverted
work call on my personal phone so that I answer appropriately. if it works on
galaxy so 2.1 did samsung add this our was it native google code?
