Is there an existing issue for this?
Current Behavior
In the uber driver experience, using many tabs slows the application down to the point where clicking on a new tab does not open it for a while. Firefox can end up asking you if you want to kill the script. The site can crash.
Expected Behavior
no slowdown or crash
