Apologies i am a total NOOB regarding all this, any help would be greatly appreciated. Basically my son wants to play Minecraft maps downloaded from the internet on his Xbox 360. I have a Mac running mavericks I have downloaded Velocity Usb memory stick Followed any and all Tube videos

when i open velocity, go to tools, there is no device tools

My understanding is that a recent Xbox update change the format of files stored on the flash drive. Previously the files your Xbox uses were stored in files on the drive. The storage devices now directly contain files. So instead of your Minecraft save being stored inside another file they're now stored directly on the device as their own files if that makes sense.

You should no longer need to use Velocity's device explorer in order to transfer files to/from the device. Basically do this: enable hidden files in Windows explorer, plug the device in, poke around a little bit and the files should be exposed.
