Please update tar package to >=2.2.2

Please use ^ or ~ ranges in your dependency semver strings, so this module doesn't need to be updated for each bugfix release of its dependencies.

Any updates on this? we use this package and we haven't been able to solve the critical issue on tar due the package being outdated, any work around?
