Explore preferential networks as a model for societal structure

This could be how we create scattered tribes, and then join them in the creation of cultures. Likewise, as population increases, using these models to represent the populations in cities, etc.

Obvious questions exist:

• How much of this has to be created up-front?
• How much can be created on-demand?
• For everything that needs to be created ahead of time, what's the most efficient way to store the required data?
• How many graph-theoretic operations will be happening in real time? In other words, do we optimize for storage/read speed? For computation?
