Goal2: For the user to see the top 5 Most commented countries of last day, week, month, etc. When clicking they should be taken directly to the region specific posts
You should be able to filter by New, Active, Top Month, etc.
What I can think of what's needed:
Information from Lemmy about the search result amount, total vote score/counts, (i.e. when I do a search query on e.g. "Gaza" I would need a response that shows the amount of posts, comments it found)
Do a query in regular intervals on all regions - depended on how heavy such a query is - and store result in own table
Being able to query the table and get a json response with all regions and search result amounts
Map amount of search results on Map by weight
It wont be perfect representation but interesting nonetheless. Chad will probably skew a lot lol
