Raspberry Pi 4b No Audio, Display Cut off #1

Ok so I finally got a chance to load it up and after fiddling a bit it loaded up and I could see everything running so that part looks good. No audio from the headphone jack though, which to be fair sucks anyway. I have a pcm5102 hooked up to it and normally just enabling the dtoverlay for the hifiberry-dac in the config file has it come up but I think you're doing some other things here to force the internal headphone jack.

Also because I'm using a tv my screen is cutoff a bit, but any changes I make to the config file seem to be ignored.

I'm also terrible with Linux stuff so it's probably user error. 😉

hi @ningdynasty

i'm using u-boot for booting the sonaremin and with that overlays do not work, so i have to merge the overlays into the dtb. if you tell me which overlays you exactly need i might try to build a custom dtb for you to try. i'm aware of the broken headphone jack audio, but to me it looks like a problem with the current 64bit kernel and jack which hopefully will be fixed in the kernel at some point in time. this is also the reason why i did not announce the sonaremin-ng anywhere yet.

best wishes - hexdump
