Describe the bug Can't type certain digits in universe input

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Check Primary Universes is 1
  3. Return to Calc
  4. Hit backspace 2 times
  5. Try to type 15 (I get 115 and if I just your 5 the 1 switches to a 5)

I'll look into this again. I think I was hitting this at one point, but it's on my to do list. Sorry for not seeing this earlier!
