Bug: redo does not work from edit menu, only via cmd-shift-z #206

Describe the bug On MacOS X, if you redo via Edit menu -> Redo it does nothing. if you trigger it via cmd-shift-z it works correctly

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Make any edit
  2. Undo, via menu or cmd-z
  3. Redo, via menu (not cmd-shift-z): this should redo your undo, returning you to original state, but instead does nothing
