Scenes not being reported as in 'processing' status #171

When the 2.4.0 mapper is running, it never updates the server with the 
'processing' status and its processing location.

Modified the code to get xmlrpc working and to cleanup saving the logs if 
xmlrpc fails to execute also some pep8 conformation
