Help users out by building a decimal degree to meter calculator and vice versa. 
 Make it a simple javascript window that is non-intrusive while being readily 
available near the bounding box and reprojection entry fields.

this can be accomplished with proj4js.. which will also be needed for the 
graphical selection display.
