Enabling asciidocjs changes the fonts shown in the Bootstrap theme, going from a Sans Serif to a serif font. The fonts in the first few heading levels also change.

Disabling asciidocjs reverts the fonts in the Bootstrap theme back to normal.

Never mind -- I see that I can disable the AsciiDoctor CSS file in the Configuration Manager...

I did not understand the issue at first, but now it is clear. I used the CSS which came with AsciiDoctor, but I did not check or modify it. for a full integration in a theme I recommend to disable it and provide a fitting CSS as you found out already.
