workflow for teacher signup is too complicated #50

We need to rethink how teacher signup is done. There are just too many steps; first joining as students and the promoting etc. Will think more about this, but it needs to be easier. Feel free to chirp in with comments.

One step from each is all which is needed. The "assistant" need to sign up for the course (to register the username as participant), and then one off the existing teachers can do the joining and promoting with one click in pending students tab.

It was strange that I had to make him TA, even though I had given him Teacher access from the Admin panel.

If AG was implemented to give access to the courses only through giving teacher access, in admin panel, then all the user with teacher access can go and edit any course. This will give security concerns and fast develop itself to be problematic.

Additionally I would say that its not a connection between having teacher access and being teacher in any course.
