Your SQL Basics book has been plagiarised #5

Seyed Hossein Ahmadpanah has apparently done a ripoff of your book, publishing it under his name as "Start SQL". It has already been confirmed that he has pirated at least two other books, out of the 24 he has claimed to write. If you confirm this, you may like to post a suitable review of his book on Amazon, etc, like I did for his plagiarised version of my Go Networking book. Or take other action as you see fit.

He is selling it on Amazon for $10 at https://www.amazon.com/Start-SQL-Seyed-Hossein-Ahmadpanah/dp/1511852518/ref=sr_1_21?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1495874548&sr=1-21&keywords=Seyed+Hossein+Ahmadpanah

Wow thanks for bringing this to my attention! I clicked on the link and I got a 404. I also searched on amazon for the book and wasn't able to find it. How did you find out about this and do you think he might have taken it down?

Someone told me my book had been plagiarised. I checked mine and also other books the guy claimed to have written. At the time they were all on sale on Amazon so by using the "Look inside" feature I could see his content and then Google matched it to the probable original source. Yours was one of them. 8 authors have so far confirmed the plagiarism. A concerted effort by all to Amazon and the guy's publisher seem to have stopped his efforts - for now. Worth keeping an eye out in case he tries again.

I'm from amazon (not on the retail side though) and I'm working on getting this nonsense author shut down. It's taking longer than I hoped but I hope to have an update soon.
