Can't use Selenium verifyText on icon-based validation errors

Before your post : If you are not 100% sure that you've found an issue,

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open showcase
http://www.smartclient.com/smartgwt/showcase/#form_validation_type
2. Enter any letter in field "Integer" and press button "Validate"
3. Open context menu for validation error icon

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want to see Selenium IDE command: verifyText Must be a whole number

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 10.04, Firefox 3.6, SmartGwt 2.2
