Grid with grouping, items randomly resorted (Chrome) #488

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
When you use a ListGrid with grouping, the items will get randomly resorted
when you expand/close a group. This happens to all groups, not just the one
your expanding or closing.
The issue goes away if you force sorting by clicking on a column header (but
you might want to use the original data order).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Goto http://www.smartclient.com/smartgwt/showcase/#featured_dynamic_grouping
or any other showcase example using grids with grouping (using Chrome)
2. Expand/close a group and watch how the items in the other groups are
randomly re-sorted.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect them to keep the current order.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Unsure which version the showcase is using.
I'm using Chrome 5.0.375.99 on Windows XP.

Please provide any additional information below.
This issue is present in Chrome, but not in Internet Explorer 8 or Firefox.

I'm running on LinuxMint 12, the same issue occurs in Chrome (23.0.1271.64) and
Chromium (17.0.963.79).

The same issue doesn't occur in Firefox (10.0.2).

Still showing this as long since fixed. Be specific about your version of
SmartGWT and the test code you are using.
