How to Disable Superpaper? #145

This is more of a question than a bug report, but I'm not sure if it's a bug either.

First off, the app keeps crashing whenever I try to select "Separate image for every display." And the reason I'm trying to do that is to get my normal wallpaper behavior and selections to behave like normal. Superpaper seems to be overriding anything Mint XFCE's wallpaper can do, and as a result I cannot use anything other than what is in a "temp" directory under Superpaper's configuration directory.

Perhaps I just need to erase the directory? I'm not sure!

Is there a button on Superpaper that just simple "disables" anything it does and return you to normal mundane wallpaper mode? Or does Superpaper perpetually control your wallpaper forever on thereafter setting it up?

i had the same question.

i used the portable appimage on ubuntu 22+ systems

once you close the appimage it disappears from system tray and changing the appearance and setting a normal background works.

also if you used the python install method: pip3 uninstall superpaper or use pip or pipx for your respective version instead...
