Having the same exact issue on Windows 10.

MOZGIII commented 6 years ago

Issue is most probably due to WSL, more specificly due to path not being propely converted from WSL paths to Windows paths when CreateProcess is invoked.

I'm not sure, but my bet is CreateProcess fails when requested to set /mnt/c/... as a working dir.

joglr commented 6 years ago

I also get this error, but only when a process is running in the current tab. It might have something to do with hypercwd not being able to access the CWD because the process is running.

cicorias commented 5 years ago

this happens with cmder under hyper in Windows - not under WSL too.

tyntas commented 5 years ago

The same error here for me on Win 10 Enterprise. It's just that I get it as soon as I launch Hyper. The error leaves Hyper running without terminal tabs and I get the error again if I try to open a new tab. I have no plugins enabled at all. The version is 2.1.1. 2.0.0 was working well until it upgraded itself. Reinstalling didn't help either. :-( image

MrDrummer commented 5 years ago

This happens to me too. Exactly the same as @cicorias - The cause is only when my active terminal is one that has a running process (e.g. quasar dev, or while doing a npm install - so when it isn't ready to take another command).

eromoe commented 5 years ago

same as 3.0.0 c8 , windows 10 wsl

codeabiswas commented 5 years ago

I am running Hyper on WSL, and I was able to fix this error by taking out hypercwd from my plugins list.

baermathias commented 4 years ago

Same error here

simoncorry commented 4 years ago

Can confirm the same issue is still occurring on Windows 10, Hyper 3.0.2 (Canary).

dgargdipin commented 4 years ago

Same error

smshields commented 4 years ago

I'm having the same error - I removed hypercwd and didn't get results. All new tab/split window functionality results in the above.
