Import Error: module cairo #32

I'm developing under MacOs and I have a problem Import Error: No module named Cairo when i try ./render.py -t "Ceci n'est pas Paris" --osmid=-943886 even after installing cairo and pycairo... I'm just getting started on Python but I think I've tried a lot of things and it still the same error... Have you got some idea? Thanks.

Unfortunately I don't have a Mac to test with ... :(

After four years with no idea,and no test platform, I'm going to close this as "Won't Fix"
