[Bug]: Can't see channels in 2.x that are listed in 1.02 #21

What happened?

Channels created on a MeshChat 1.02 on two different linux computers are not showing in MeshChat 2.x installed on AREDN nodes. Messages are synchronizing without issues. MeshChatChannels

Please check issue #15 for a possible behavior that I reported in that issue.

It is a little bit more crazy than the way that @n2mh describes in #15. Working on and debugging #23 I found that one channel selector box would show channels created with a space and the other channel selector box would drop the channel names with a space in them. I believe, but not 100% certain, that the send message channel selector would show the channels with space in them. Needless to day that the add channel text box does allow the channel to be created with a space.

@hickey - I'm one of the Linux installs that the OP mentioned. On Windows I'm using Edge, Linux is Firefox (both up to date) and both exhibit the same behavior. My local install was 1.02 on the linux box and 2.9 API on the hAP node.
