rtorrent crashes when trying hash check #89

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. clicking on any torrent
2. once the new window is loaded, press the "hash check" button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i expect rtorrent to force a hash check on the torrent, instead it crashes
every time. tried it on 3 different systems

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
using latest version of rtgui (0.2.7) with latest version of rtorrent and
libtorrent (0.8.4, 0.12.4). tried on: 2 systems with sabayon 4.1, 1 system
with gentoo 2008.0.

Please provide any additional information below.

This is very unlikely to be an rtGui issue.  Have you opened a bug report at
http://libtorrent.rakshasa.no/
