the problem shown on the screen happens if you group the entries by issue and than try to reorder the table by something other than issue. i'll have a look on it, but seems not so important to me because if you group AND order by Issue it work as expected...

The date is default, but even if break it, why not order items after grouping? Is it redmine strict?
