Reproduction Steps
Go to the $ski community and upvote a contest submission using $ski tokens for the weighted topic mechanism.
Head to the general topic and try to upvote there after

I also tried to reproduce this bug in this community with a similar contest running. https://commonwealth.im/briun-armstrung/discussions/General
My upvotes are registering there so it looks like the issue is exclusive to the $ski community.
