I've been working with and saving a project with no errors for about 12 hours. After closing for a break and attempting to open later I am now receiving this error and can not open the file. The .anie file is not in plain-text when opening so I have no idea if recovery is possible or what the actual issue is.

Is there nothing I can do to recover the file?

Could you give me the .anie for investigation? If it's possible, upload the file somewhere. If you don't want to publish it, please set a password to the file and send the password to this address. counter@animeeffects.sakura.ne.jp

I have sent an e-mail with the problematic file.

I sent an e-mail with the corrected file. But I still can't determine the cause, so please answer some questions.

  1. Tell me the OS.
  2. Tell me the version of AnimeEffects.
  3. Have you used the resource updating with ResourceWindow during work?
  4. The resource ID of "calves" had corrupted. Do you have any clue about it?
gokiburikin commented 7 years ago
  1. Windows 7 SP1 64bit

  2. 1.3 (not 1.3.4)

  3. Yes, I use resource updating a lot. I sketch the animation in simple shapes, do a rough animation, then update the PSD and update through the resources window only the folder that needs updating. In this file there were 3 folders (sketch, flat, full) and to update I open Resource Window, right click "flat", and select reload images. I do this very often to make small changes to individual layers.

  4. "calves" was the rough layer which was deleted from the PSD and replaced with calf l and calf r, but I left the calves layer on the timeline to position calf l and calf r correctly. "thighs" layer was the same.

Thank you. Please let me know if anything happens again. Also, version 1.3 contains another serious bug, so please update to 1.3.4 as soon as possible.
