The Genome Translation Commons allows researchers to share their individual projects using a common set of formats, uniform standards and quality assurance as well as metadata. It provides a repository of genomics and functional assay datasets, curated to a uniform high standard and available to disseminate primary and derived data to participants and the public. It provides an environment for systematic organization of molecular profiles across phenotypes, disease phenotypes, genomic variants, biological processes, samples and disease signatures. Where possible, the Commons will ensure reproducibility by hosting pipelines and workflows that have been generated for analysis of datasets within the study.
