What is your laptop?
Asus Zenbook UX3410UA (equal to UX430UA)
macbookPro 14.1 - Intel I5-7200U - Intel Hd 620 - 16GB Samsung DDR4 PC4 17000 (2133 MHz) - clover / opencore
Which version of macOS are you using?
10.15.2
Describe the problems
if I connect the (USB-C to DisplayPort) cable to the running notebook, a black screen comes up immediately and the notebook reboots and ignores the connection to the external monitor.
if i connect the cable to the switched off notebook and then boot, the apple comes and the bar moves to the half, goes out and reboots to the half bar, goes out... and so it goes again and again.
I have a USBPorts.kext and all uSB Ports are working.
With Windows 10 the monitor runs on the USB-C port without problems.
