Firefox: ireader conflicts with NoScript add-on #136

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
On Firefox 3.6.8 with the very popular NoScript add-on installed
1. Go to any page where the iReader icon appears in the url bar
2. Click on the iReader icon - nothing happens!
3. Tell NoScript to allow scripts on that page (effectively turning off
NoScript). After doing this, clicking on the iReader icon works as expected.

What is the expected output?
iReader should not require additional page permissions in NoScript

Browser:
Chrome or Firefox?

Operating system:

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

firefox 4.0b7, ireader 1.0.5, noscript 2.0.7
why does ireader need an exception from noscript?

The NoScript developer has responded to this issue here - seems it is
definitely an ireader problem:
