Hi, when i press the butten force charge its not starting charging, any idea how to solve this. Core 2023.12.4 Supervisor 2023.12.0 Operating System 11.2 Frontend 20231208.2 Battery_sim_1.3.3 Greetings, Pieter Screenshot from 2023-12-31 12-10-20

Did a new instaal and its working again, only sensor.battery_sim_enphase_10t_2nd_gen_simulated_sensor_p1_meter_total_power_export is unavailable , Greetings Pieter nwinstall

also have a error in energy energiedashboard

Hello, I have the same issue here where the simulated grid power export is not avaiable.

running the same version as @smytangel

Ok I'll have a look into it. Have you exported any energy since the update? I wonder if it isn't showing anything until you have actually exported some energy.

Thanks, H

I think that is correct. I just looked at the data and it shows that the sensor started reporting 9 hours ago and at that time I also exported a litte bit of power. So my installation is working right now :).

hif2k1 commented 9 months ago

Ok thanks. I'll still try to fix it as it should have a reading immediately, but glad it's working now.

Hi, also myn install. is working now. Only have that error on energy dashboard. Core 2024.1.1 Supervisor 2023.12.0 Operating System 11.3 Frontend 20240104.0 Battery_sim_1.3.3 Greetings Pieter

So I have no solar so I will never export for real, however I just added my first simulated battery. First of all the energy dashboard doesn't make sense to me, but I think this is a known issue (e.g. it assumes battery is charged from solar and discharging only into house load and not exporting to grid), I think this here is the same or a similar issue. Where because I'm not exporting (0.000kWh) there is also no simulated export. I assumed it would be exporting virtually everything 'between' the house load and the discharge rate of the battery.

I have added a 0kWh sensor and added it as solar production. Now my energy dashboard makes slightly more sense, still not getting any simulated grid export though:

Screenshot_2024-03-06-19-07-46-004_io.homeassistant.companion.android.jpg So all my battery out is counted as house consumption instead of grid export.

Ah, I hadn't considered that use case. I will have to add some functionality in the next release to get that working.

@hif2k1 any update on this? Do you want me to create a new issue?
