You should be able to make an automation that changes the batteries "Battery Mode" input to "Force charge" during your 3 hours of free power and then back to "Default" at other times. Hope this works for you.

G’day,
Great simulator! It’s working really well despite the refresh rate being a bit slow. Giving me a great picture.
I have three hours of free power each day for charging an EV and in reality that chews up most of my excess solar. In practice, if I install a battery I will be topping it up each day at this time with the free grid power. At the moment (in winter) I’m struggling to get any significant power into the simulated battery.
Is there a way where I can set the simulator to simply fill up - if I could set the state of the sensor that would be ideal but obviously I can’t do that with a sensor. This would allow me to properly model what savings I would generate.
Cheers,
Leigh

i can confirm that the Automation approach to force charge works.
I missed the first reply! Thanks both - I will be dropping that into the workflow today.
