Just wondering if this is still being worked on or not. Having a working app with notifications would be a life saver (android matrix apps all suck for the most part).

Sorry, somehow completely missed this! I only made it as a demo to test how Cinny works on a phone screen when it does. It's much improved now and could even say it works quite well aside from some UI quirks.

So not really worked on actively but anyone curious enough could try to fix some issues like keyboard moving the timeline up etc. to get it closer to being fully functional without notifications. Cinny also needs some UI work still.

The notifications were the main problem for me:

was problem for me on all element-based apps on mobile, even with different homeservers.

E.g. I currently host my own conduit, with schildichat. But I had problems with beeper on android, chatting with another beeper user on android. But the moment I message from my conduit, to the beeper user, the notifications work fine both ways.

I have no idea how this happens, or where's the cause, but I hoped that using "browser notifications" would help, since on desktop they work fine. So the problem is just an Android app.
