Tooltip text not present in IE10 #1

Version 10.0.9200.17089 for Internet Explorer:

Yellow tooltips with blank text appear in Internet Explorer browsers; same svg doc works fine in Firefox.

Hi Nick, thanks for the report. We're aware that there are differences across browsers in the implementation of various SVG features. Our code handles Firefox and Chrome reasonably well, but we don't really have the capacity at this time to push the cross-browser compatibility envelope farther. Someday hopefully we'll get around to this, but I don't think it's a priority.

Thanks for the response, your code is the best solution for adding tooltips to a ggplot I was able to find; good work.
