When any event or message is sent, while offline, i cannot login

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Whenever i am off-line and if any one sends an message or broad-cast
message (event message), I cannot login exodus.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A bug report gets generated and i cannot login. I have to exit the
application and re-login again.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The Exodus version is 0.9.1.0 and OS is Windows XP SP2

To what server (if public like jabber.org) are you connecting?
jabber.org

What plugins, if any, are enabled?
no plugins
