Fix for #397 #398

Proposing a fix for #397 (and a debug helper and commented debug commands)

Appear to work. I would like to propose to propagate this change also to api_octopart.py but the better plan is we use the distributors.py to those common code parts that is used for all distributors APIs/scraps. This will be a good plan to move on #386.

Me (personal roadmap) is improve by #386, keep the Octopart direct API file and add some Digikey / Mouser / ...
