Links in commit messages are not clickable #169

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a repository (for example,
http://google-toolbox-for-mac.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/)
2. Open commit message with link in it (for example, in mentioned repository
r471)
3. Observe full commit message below table.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected the link to be clickable. Actual result is that link is displayed as
plain text.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using SvnX 1.3.3 on Mac OS X 10.6.8.

I’m not sure why you ‘expect’ this behaviour as svnX has never had it,
unless this is a feature request.
However, you can right-click in URL-like text & choose ‘Open URL’ from the
pop-up menu.
Also, svnX 2 will have (has) support for this (& much more).

Yeah, I agree it is a feature request. I've filed it as defect mostly because
text view has automatic link detection. That's why I expect links to be
clickable.

Thanks for right-click tip, I didn't know about that.

It appears that ‘automatic link detection’ only works in an *editable* text
field and if you actually type the link or select its text & choose ‘Make
Link’ from the contextual menu.
Unfortunately, enabling this feature makes no difference in an un-editable text
field.
