Unicode clobbered in "See also" section when added to vocab

1. Look up a word that contains a "See ..." section. For example:
卒がない [そつがない] (See 卒のない) cautious, careful, shrewd, without error, without slip 

2. Add it to vocab

3. The "(See 卒のない)" part becomes "(See ????)"

This is on 1.87  under Windows 8.1 in portable mode.

I think that's due to the vocabulary format, will be fixed with Issue 220.

Strangely, sometimes it works fine. When I added 写し取る to vocab, the definition "(See
書き写す) to make a copy" was added correctly with Japanese characters without clobbering.

It seems it's backwards: in 写し取る's case vocabulary substitution didn't take place due
to a bug. So you've been seeing the original dictionary entry. Now I've fixed it and
it's broken too, like it should be :)
