AV when accessing Print Command #273

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to the Editor Menu and select Print or alternatively use the shortcut (Ctrl +
F7)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

No output, just an AV: AV at address 0079DC98 in module "wakan.exe". Read of address
000004BB

To be fair, I tried the print command without having anything selected to print (editor
was empty), but I retried with something random written in it and it still doesn't
work. same AV.

This is unrelated.

Another issue I came accross. In the Character Menu after "Display all" there is "learned
only" and then "common only".
Now, the "learned only" one cannot be selected and has no effect when pressed.

I have a small number of Kanji in the LEARNED category.

Please file a separate issue, it's alright to have lots of issues if they're unrelated.
It makes it easier to see what's fixed and what's not.

Hey, just leaving a comment in the hopes of enticing you back into working on Wakan
or at least ascertaining your current status. Are you ok? Sorry, this is noise, but
I would definitely like to play around with an updated 1.92 version of Wakan because
I keep running into the same old problems on the current version. I cannot build Wakan
myself.

It's awesome that you actually pulled through in the face of noone helping out. I do
want to help with this and also spread a fixed version around. Let's keep working on
Wakan, together!

Thanks, I'm okay, just a bit overloaded with things :) Commit 98d6840cde93 should have
fixed this issue just now, see latest Jalet.exe in downloads.

Wow... I was pretty slow there. Didn't realize until now that you put an actual Jalet.exe
in the downloads that has all the changes and thus counts as a newer version of Wakan.
Why did I misunderstand this?

Okay so the new version is really nice. Fast, reliable and all the bugs are gone, allowing
me to seek out new ones.

Thx for this. As for the AV when printing I have to report that he still gives me an
AV at adress 007A3298 in wakan.exe. Read of 000004BB

Yeah, something was wrong... Maybe I put the wrong version? I've rebuilt and reuploaded
it, please try this one.

After testing I can confirm that the new version fixes the AV. Having access to printing
preview now I checked all the options as to if they work, too and they work just fine.

Great work! this bug is fixed.
