On macbook:

Zoom options:

  1. Drag a selection box over the region of interest
  2. Holding control key, drag trackpad with two fingers
  3. Vertical only zoom: holding y key, drag trackpad with two fingers
  4. Horizontal only zoom: holding x key, drag trackpad with two fingers

Pan options:

  1. Holding control key, click and drag trackpad with two finger
  2. Vertical only zoom: holding y key, click and drag trackpad with two fingers
  3. Horizontal only zoom: holding x key, click and drag trackpad with two fingers

To reset view: Holding control key, click trackpad
