4.0.1 on storybook 8 doesn't show dark mode button #270

I just installed the latest version on storybook 8, configured everything, but the dark mode button doesn't appear. If I delete the localStorage and refresh i can see it for a second but then the whole storybook goes in blank page; I then refresh again and the button disappear.
