Update dependencies (Jest 29), fix errors #69

As stated by @shairez in #68 , there were some problems with newer versions of dependencies.

These problems should be fixed with this Pull Request.

I see you didn't base it on my changes, so I'll merge it (inspite of the conflicts) and will try and merge my changes of pnpm to be able to release a new version
