This recommendation was put forward to CHAH at the CHAH AGM in Auckland 2016. The attached proposal was put forward. AVH promotional materials.docx Waiting on hearing back.....

continuity of branding, simple business card and a poster (PDF)

CHAH action: CHAH requests limited static material however supports the development of electronic resources.

Donna sent a follow up email to CHAH on 22/02/2017 Dear CHAH members,

Further to Michelle's email, the AVH will incorporate NZ specimen data and NZOR names, which in itself is a big deal - lets promote it! There are also additional features to the AVH, example being improvements to data downloads....etc. As Michelle highlighted, we are waiting on a date from the ALA as to when the release may be. I have suggested end of March as a ball park.

The AVH is CHAH's number 1 product, and the investment that has gone into it over the years is huge. I think we have been underselling this product, which prompted HISCOM/MAHC to discuss promotional material at the last AGM in Brisbane, October 2016. HISCOM/MAHC prepared a document (see attached) on promotional material for CHAH's consideration. HISCOM/MAHC have not received any formal response to this. With the forthcoming launch of the AVH, could CHAH please reconsider the attached 'promotional material' ideas. Furthermore, it would be wise to think about some launch ideas.

The ALA has a media person whom I think we should utilise. Obviously we can advertise via ALA and AVH news feeds. Also consider other newsletters, ASBS etc... IBC in China?? I'm sure there are many other avenues if we all put our thinking caps on!

We look forward to locking in a date soon....and welcoming launch and promotional material ideas.
