The Museum Community are still investigating their usage of the GGBN extensions. A small number of museums have been delivering tissue data to the ALA for a number of years but we (FCIG) have yet to reach final consensus on a preferred and consistent approach for a standard practice. We are actively investigating this.

3 museums now providing data to ALA. The next FCIG meeting is planning to discuss terms and standardisation based on experience. (Ely)
data delivery - use IPT GGBN extension
the issue of data sovereignty was raised as a more important issue, particularly as it relates to genetic data. Questions of what should be delivered and timing of data availability. Priority in CHAH was raised.
Useful discussion would be to report back difficulties of standardisation, etc for discussion.
